So it’s that time of year again-the summer has gone by so incredibly fast and now it is time to start preparing for the beginning of a new school year. Today is my last day working here at the PrissyPoofs office and I am very sad to be leaving! I have learned so much from Laura and Deborah about owning and running your own business and I’m excited to put this invaluable knowledge and experience to use, not only towards my business classes in the fall, but also my future plans and career. I have loved every minute that I have worked with these two lovely ladies and I am excited to see what new and exciting things they will do next! I hope that everyone has a wonderful start to the school year and a happy fall. Hello all! My name is Lucy and I am the new intern here at PrissyPoofs! To tell you a little about myself, I am an upcoming sophomore at the University of South Carolina and am majoring in marketing with a minor in fashion merchandising. My very best friend met Laura’s husband at a major golf event in Greenville and being the good friend that she is, referred me to Laura, who was kind enough to offer me an internship for the summer.I am so excited to begin working with Laura and Deborah and cannot wait to learn all that I possibly can from them about all aspects of this wonderful company. I hope to update this blog every so often with what I am learning from these two lovely ladies, any news from the PrissyPoofs office and hopefully some specials so you can start thinking about what your little princess is going to be for Halloween this year!

Wow!
I can’t believe that it is the middle of June and Father’s Day is fast approaching. School ended in a flurry of parties, end of the year programs, bags of papers being sent home from school, and then WHAM!!!! Summer is here and I’m trying to hold on to the lazy days of summer, if there are any! In the midst of trying to work and keep some consistency to our schedule, I’m trying to pack an 8 year old boy and a 9 year old girl for sleep-away camp this Sunday! Deborah and I both are sending our children to the same camp this year and at the same time! What will we do with ourselves

Never, ever, ever did I imagine myself almost 7 years ago being a co-business owner with my college roommate, nor did I imagine I would be sitting down to write my very first blog…in fact, 7 years ago I certainly didn’t know anything about blogs, still kind of don’t!
Deborah and I started PrissyPoofs almost 7 years ago for a way to see each other and get out of the house, make a little extra money while sipping a cold cocktail and selling our wares! Our story is like so many other mommy owned companies…
We are so excited about this new addition to our company and website…we are looking forward to interacting with other moms that are doing the same thing we are…Being Super Mom! Driving carpools, running companies, being the chef, the house cleaner, the dog walker, among our many other responsibilities that leave us falling into the bed at night to a much neglected hubby!
