January brings about lots of meetings around our offices. We begin discussing our hopes, goals, dreams for the new year. We also decide who we are going to work with by way of specials. Some of our favs are our wonderful customers, schools, churches, large organizations like Susan G Komen and American Heart Assocation.
This January thru February 15 we are working with our friends across the web to give professional photographers a great discount as they too get ready for a new year of in-studio and on location photography. In the past, our photography friends have loved the “Poofs” and send us great photos from their shoots. If you are a photographer and interested in getting a “Poof”-tastic deal on our fantastically fabulous PrissyPoofs simply email us at info@prissypoofs.com to receive your coupon code! It’s definitely worth the effort, I promise!
Also, make sure your stay tuned to www.prissypoofs.com to hear about our upcoming Featured Photographers starting in April!
Thanks again to all our fans and friends of PrissyPoofs for helping our company grow each year. We look forward to bringing you fun new styles, great new programs, and unbeatable discounts in 2008!
Until next time,
Laura

Can you believe it! Another year in the history books…
I don’t know about you but this year I decided not to make any resolutions. It seems in the past few years, my resolutions barely made it out of the gate and then I felt guilty the next 11 and a half months for not sticking to them…NOT THIS YEAR! I decided no resolutions and I can’t tell you how happy I am! No guilt hanging over me, no promises broken, no explanations of why I couldn’t commit to not eating those M&Ms in the office
So today, I wish each of you an amazing year full of firsts, lasts, and doing all those fabulous things that come with a new year!
PrissyPoofs has lots of new exciting stuff happening around our offices for 2008! We will be debuting yet another few fantastically fabulous “Poofs” as well as adding some awesome tights & leggings to our apparel section! We enter into 2008 with awesome customers, great new styles, and the ability to help little Princesses around the world enjoy the world of imagination.
Deborah and I continue to strive to make PrissyPoofs the best company it can be…let us know how we are doing and if you have any suggestions as we start out 2008. We will personally respond to each of you!
Embrace 2008!
Until next time,
Laura

I just sat down and realized it’s a mere 82 days until Halloween. And boy, do we have some exciting things happening around here! We are getting set to debut 2 new styles next week on the site…can’t spill the beans yet but one is quite jingly and pink and the other one is sure to be a hit with our little farm animal lovers!
Deborah and I get asked alot what are our most popular styles and which ones are our favorites. As Halloween comes our way, I thought I’d share some of my favorites. Our all time best seller since our beginning 7 years ago is our LadyBugPoof…and I must admit, it is one of my favorites! In a close 2nd would be our ChickeePoof - this one is a must for our little fans, the feathers galore leave little ones squealing in delight! Last year when we debuted our DalmationPoof, it quickly stole my heart as well. You certainly can’t go wrong with any of our PrissyPoofs but consistently year after year the following styles are the picks of little goblins across the country:
The FairyPoof, PrincessPoofs, DamselPoof, BunnyPoof and CowGirlPoof.
As you begin to plan with your little Princesses or choose for them remember that you will be the hit of all the Halloween parties when you choose a PrissyPoofs or SpookyPoofs costume this season. The best thing about our “Poofs” is they aren’t just for Halloween…you will get years of dress-up fun with your choice!
As always, if you have any feedback about styles, questions for me or Deborah, fun ideas about how to pair your “Poof”, let us know!
Until next time,
Laura

OK, so I’m writing a post within 3 days of my last one…YEAH! I feel a strange calm as I get ready for vacation. I actually have the kids already packed, unbelievable…have washed every bit of laundry in my house, including sheets, WOW…even been to the grocery store to stock up on some snack items for the trip, as well as the must-haves before arriving to our destination! It’s not often that I feel this put together and I know it’s just a matter of time before that feeling goes by the wayside, so I’m enjoying it for now.
Next week if you need us, not only will Deborah and I both be on vacation, our warehouse will be doing inventory getting ready for the Halloween craziness. So please be patient if you need us next week and know we will be back in full swing the first week in August!
Driving to pick up one from Baseball Camp and one from Girls on the Run camp today, I suddenly realized that school starts in 4 weeks!!! How has the summer screamed by like this! It is now my ultimate goal to do nothing scheduled for the rest of the summer and enjoy our last few weeks, I hope you each do the same.
I would like to thank all of you that respond and let us know what you think about our site, our “Poofs”, and the Posts. As you who respond know, we certainly make it worth your time with great discounts! Keep them coming…
No posts for a week, inventory done when we return, school supplies list waiting in the mail when we come home, but more importantly…no driving around like a mad women next week, lots of sitting, and I might even read a whole book from beginning to end
Until next time,
Laura

Whoa, I know my last post was Time Goes by toooooo fast….well, I sure guess it’s true since I haven’t written a post in a couple of weeks! My goal is for Deborah and I to write posts every couple of days, great to set goals, sometimes hard to keep them
Around our offices this time of year, things really start to heat up! We get the uneasy feeling that a big wave is coming and it’s kind of like being pregnant! Each year…you remember all the great things and the hard things seem to pass with time. Well, now it’s here and we are getting ready for our mad Halloween rush! We are expecting several ads to hit in the next few weeks as well as our wonderfully faithful customers who come back year after year for a fantastically fabulous “Poof”! They want to make sure their little goblins are the hit of the Halloween Block Party, which of course, they always are!
This year we are SO excited about 3 new styles debuting in the next few weeks. BIG SECRET, SHHHHHH, make sure you check frequently for upcoming debuts as well as our weekly specials starting in August and running until Halloween.
We love, love, love to get emails from you. Feel free to email me direct at laura@prissypoofs.com if you have new “poof” ideas or have a question about our products or services. We also love to provide “Poofs” to local, regional, or national tv shows looking for the perfect new Halloween costume alternative. If you know of a show in your area and send us info, you can receive a great coupon code for fabulous savings on a PrissyPoof of your choice!
As always, looking forward to hearing from you and until next time!
Best,
Laura

Seriously, I need a way to slow down time, or my life, or my kids days…it seems like we are up in the morning only to run all day long and fall into bed at night wondering why I didn’t complete most of the things on my list of to-do’s! In true summer fashion, we are staying up way too late, eating all the wrong (quite unhealthy) foods, having marathon spend the night parties with one or both the kids friends…sometimes I just want to have a full blown 2 year old temper tantrum in the middle of work! Then, in the midst of all the craziness…life seems to be full of the smallest of blessings! Catching lightning bugs at 10pm and naming them, a true and completely un-expected thank you for the 4 games of putt-putt that the kids got to play, that sweet voice proclaiming - I am the best Mommy in the world! It’s then that I realize how blessed I am and take the time to revel in the craziness that will fade away all too soon to a very quiet and simple household wondering about the good ol’ days with the kids.
I hope that today in the midst of your craziness you experience that moment that gives you a new breath of fresh air to continue on your journey!
now off to the Swim meet

Laura is out of commission for a few days so here I am–Deborah. I am the behind the scenes girl who does all of the jobs no one likes–accounting, inventory, etc—-the strange thing is I actually do like them!
Anyway, I have 2 boys who are at camp this week, one for the first time. I finally have a week to spend doing all adult things: reuniting with my husband, actually having a clean house for more than 5 minutes, girls’ night, etc. You would think that I would be having the time of my life. However, it is strangely quiet at my house, and honestly I am much more comfortable in the total chaos that the boys create. I guess it is true–the grass is always greener—until you actually reach the grass and realize it has the same weeds you have.
Anyway, I am on the final countdown–pick-up day is tomorrow.
I am sure that I will give them a HUGE hug and then sterilize them from head to toe!
Deborah
